Sunrise December 7th 1941
This has been a very popular image that has it's own interesting story. I saw this car at a Utah show in 2015.
I've been working on a series of photo illustrations called Lost Brands. This series feature brand and models that are long gone. The idea is to suggest a story, but allow the viewer to recall their own memories or stories.
The car is a 1941 Hupp Skylark. I spent a lot of time reworking this image to suggest the morning of Pearl Harbor and the changes about to come to America. Hupp ceased making cars and retooled for the war effort.
This image prints up beautifully on canvas or acrylic. Kodak metallic paper is another very nice and economical print with a UV resistance of over 100 years.
It is available printed in a number of sizes and finishes. If you have an option in mind, e-mail me for an estimate.
Thanks for taking time to check this image out.
